As the Vice President of Operations, Amy provides strategic development and oversight and facilitates consistent execution at all levels of the organization. Amy also prepares and coordinates the Business Market Value Analysis with the Client, their trusted advisors, and the Blue Sky Team. She conducts buyer and seller research, compiling competitive overviews and industry trend reports. She also assists with growth strategies and special projects.
Earlier in her career, Amy spent nine years as a paralegal with the US Army, including positions as NCO (noncommissioned officer) of the Trial Defense Office and NCO for the Criminal Investigation Division. She held top secret clearance, serving five years on active duty and four in the reserves, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. She holds two Army medals of commendation.
After work, Amy gives her time as a Girl Scout troop leader. She served as the Service Area Manager for Green Bay Metro Girl Scouts, leading a team of volunteers who coordinate metro-area events, leader trainings, and recruitment. She currently holds the Treasury position on the Service Team.
A Green Bay native, Amy holds an MBA in finance from Lakeland College, and a business administration degree from Campbell University, based North Carolina. Amy has two children, Madeline and Connor, and loves spending time with them.
Art brings a unique skill set of both finance and law to Blue Sky Advisors. Art has over 25 years in the commercial banking industry in Colorado and California and is an expert in Asset Based Lending, Trade Financing (Import/Export/Letters of Credit), Commercial Real Estate Financing and Small Business Financing. Art also has worked as an attorney for over 20-years representing clients with multiple business-related areas including corporate buyouts, lender financing, entity formation and commercial real estate.
Art has B.A. and M.S. degrees in Economics from Brigham Young University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and graduated from the Pacific Coast School of Banking in Seattle, Washington. Art is a licensed attorney in California and Colorado as well as a member of both the 9th and 10th Federal District Courts.
Maria Niewirowicz is one of Blue Sky’s newest members, joining us in the role of Junior Advisor. Maria is also currently working in a multi-functional role for Everstream in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, she is responsible for managing the daily operations of their Michigan offices.
Maria has earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and a certificate in Management.
The past few years she has spent traveling the states, settling in both El Paso, Texas, and Fayetteville, North Carolina. She now lives back in her home town of Howell, Michigan, with her husband Nick, 21 month old son Cole, and 5 month old daughter Aspen. In her free time, Maria is an avid boater, kayaker, and rollercoaster enthusiast.
Fun Fact: Maria and Nick used to climb the Franklin Mountains in Texas, where they could stand and be at the exact same level as the distant airplanes.
Nigel Swaby is an experienced entrepreneur and manager with knowledge in technology, real estate, mortgage finance and marketing. He currently holds a Utah real estate license with a practice in commercial real estate and multi-family infill development. Mr. Swaby is active in his local community and serves as Chair of the newly formed River District Chamber in Salt Lake City. He is also the operator of The Startup Register, a web publication about startup businesses. In his free time he enjoys golf, travel and college football.
Jason has 20 years of professional experience in business operations and development. Having spent his entire career as an entrepreneur and business transformation consultant, he is well positioned to guide other business owners through their M&A options while coordinating all efforts to help ensure a successful outcome for each and every one of his clients.
His most recent achievements involve developing an alternative fuel technology and successfully navigating the global regulatory environment. Jason leveraged his innovation into a joint venture, serving as COO for ThermoDynamics Group, a Netherlands-based multinational. Jason ushered his technology through
R&D and commercialization, to successfully license the intellectual property.
Troy Tucker, is an Accredited Business Intermediary, Certified Mergers and Acquisition Professional and a Senior Valuation Analyst at Blue Sky Business Resources in Sandy, Utah.
He is a consummate professional, dedicated to providing confidential and dedicated service to his clients and peers.
Troy has started, developed and managed several businesses, and is currently running multiple enterprises. Additionally, he has worked as a professional sales executive working in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and software.
He enjoys working with transitioning business owners and entrepreneurs brokering / developing business concepts or franchises. He is a member of the American Business Brokers Association, International Business Brokers Association, and Mergers & Acquisitions Source.
